Color: Getting to Know You

If you were to open a new tab in your browser right now to Google search what is your fav, stopping at the letter “v”, it would yield a number of auto populated suggestions from Google. One of them would inevitably be what is your favorite color? What is your favorite color?

It’s a question we’ve been asked since we were children. It’s a typical getting-to-know-you kind of question… “What is your favorite color?”

I can tell you what my husband would answer. He would answer “blue”. He has probably answered “blue” all of his life. He doesn’t put much thought into it. It’s just blue. Quite frankly, I don’t think he really feels that strongly about it, one way or the other.

But there are some people walking around on this very earth who do feel very strongly about it. I am one such person. Guilty.

“What is your favorite color?”

“For what?”

“What?”

“For what? For my walls? To wear as clothing? To paint with? For lipstick?”

It’s serious business.
